SYMPHONY OF Prayer

When the full measure of the gathered prayers of God's people finally reach a crescendoing echo in God's ears, then it becomes too much for Him to wait any longer. A young adult just recently said, "Sometimes God might tell you to do something like lie down on your left side for 390 days and then on your right side for 40 days, like He did to Ezekiel." ( Ezekiel ch. 4) That instruction seems so unproductive. Our minds think EFFICIENCY... God's ways are far above our ways. We think....get out there and do street evangelism or set up this ministry, or that...God says, "Did you come to Me, and wait on Me and listen for my instruction?" If you are doing what you are doing because you heard from God...do it. But if you are doing it because you think this is the best way to reach the city, or your friend, or whatever other thing you are doing in God's kingdom. Stop. Posture yourself for a season to hear God's voice. Really hear His voice. David waited on the Lord. He became entwined with God, to understand His ways and His timing, His strategies. God's ways are very different from ours. And what He does once, He usually does not do it that way again.

What an astonishment it will be to see, once the veil is finally lifted, all the souls that have been reaped by you, simply because you have been in the habit of taking your orders from Jesus Christ. - Oswald Chambers (he wrote this about the power of prayer)
November Schedule

The PGHOP schedule is slightly altered for part of November because 10 of us are away to National House of Prayer from November 6 - 11. Please keep us in prayers, as this is not about us, but we are going as a representation of Prince George. So we are working together. Your prayers will be making the way for heaven to work together with earth for His purposes to be accomplished. We want the Holy Spirit and angels to be with us to carry out the assignment God has for this team.

Next Week (November 6 - 11)

House of Prayer OPEN DURING BUSINESS HOURS. There will be someone here during the mornings Monday to Friday. The rest of the time, just come up, find the CD of your choice and put it in the CD player....and wait on God. Do not turn down the space heaters, or unplug them. Just leave them as they are.

There are NO EVENING PRAYER TIMES AT THE PGHOP NOV. 6 - 10

However, please feel free to join these times at The Well (corner of Ospika and 15th Avenue by Tim Horton's) Tuesday, November 7th Prayer -- 7 pm. They will be praying for the NHOP team Friday, November 10th Free to Worship Night - 7 pm

The Week of November 20 - 24

BACK TO NORMAL SCHEDULE

Watch for Something Coming Up for Children in January God has been brooding over some of us for the past year that we are to have a track for Children. A track for them to learn to hear God's voice. It appears that this is the time to take another step, and so this will be happening once a month from January to June at the PGHOP on Saturday afternoons. It will be for 7 - 12 year olds from 1 pm to 3 pm. There will more detailed information coming the end of November.
