September has gone by quickly. We are into fall. The colours are spectacular -- and the weather has been beautiful so we have been able to enjoy the beauty of this season. It sometimes takes one's breath away. I have learned to seize the moment as much as possible...to enjoy God's artistic side. He truly displays His glory in creation. I think He enjoys it when we enjoy His creation.
We are now finished the 21 Day Fast. Some have taken this very seriously to seek the face of the Lord and they have already experienced bonuses along the way...things they did not ask for, or expect. Like, excema has totally cleared up. Something that was very irritating and painful to bear on a continual basis. Another one received words from the Lord that were confirmed within days. Another was touched by God's power. A child that joined us for prayer one evening was hit with the power of the Holy Spirit and began to laugh and laugh during the prayer time. Then jumped up from the chair and began to shout declarations of God's greatness, and declaring angels to be released to deal with demonic forces. This child went on and on and so freely shouted out these declarations. It was a confirmation to the passage from Psalm 18 that I had been reading and praying through for the last couple of days. It is the way the Lord is. If we position ourselves to wait on Him, He says, "Here I am." He appears.
FALL SCHEDULE:
We are started into our fall schedule as of Tuesday evening. Our fast was over at noon on Tuesday. The Pastors' Prayer Day took place here on Tuesday from 9 am - 1 pm. Thank you for praying for this time. We sensed the presence of the Lord
YOUTH
Also, the Lord has been giving us direction to pray for the youth and children. At the 180Youth Conference He poured out of His presence in a very special way. Many young people wept as the Spirit of God touched them and ministered to them. Some lingered in the presence of the Lord wanting to walk out their life in Christ and asking the Lord for that grace.
The Lord gave a prophetic word from Isaiah 61:4, which says: "Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, they will raise up the former devastations, and they will repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations."
A few days later, when I checked my emails, I found this from another person who had been praying for the 180 Youth Conference on Friday night here at the PGHOP:
I was awakened in the night with an instruction from the Lord to read Isaiah 58:12, in the NIV it says, "Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins, and will raise up the age-old foundations, you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings."
The Living Bible says it this way,'Your sons will rebuild the long-deserted ruins of your cities, and you will be known as the People Who Rebuild Their Walls and Cities."
I was very excited because God confirmed this word as His word from two sources. So we are seriously praying this word over the youth and children...as the scriptures say, if we receive a word, we are to war with that word. We are to pray it through. God wants to use this generation to rebuild ancient ruins, repair ruined cities and desolations of many generations, repair broken walls, and restore streets.
There was a young boy mentioned at 180, who has felt a call to go to Africa to help the children. He is 9 years old and his church has gotten behind him. I have included an attachment of this as the newspaper in Thunder Bay got a hold of this. This is an example of Isaiah 61:4 and 58:12! May this be an encouragement. Hear God's voice and obey!! I believe God is going to do very unusual things through youth and children. He is going to pour out His Spirit on them mightily.
JERUSALEM
Last Sunday, October 1, was the International Day for Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. This has been happening for 4 years now and over 1,000 ministry leaders endorse this and call their churches and ministry groups to pray according to Psalm 122.
We have been open as a House of Prayer for one year now. October 2, 2005 was our opening and it fell on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.
TRIP TO NATIONAL HOUSE OF PRAYER
A team will be going to the National House of Prayer in Ottawa November 6 - 11. There is still room if some of you sense from the Lord you are to do this. Please let us know here at pghop@telus.net or pziemer@telus.net . We can have 15 and there are 9 in the team as of now.
THIS WEDNESDAY (Oct. 18, 2006)
Next Wednesday on Shaarei Tephilla, the live prayer meeting that is webstreamed at PGHOP from Miracle channel, will host Steve Hill from Pensacola, (October 18th). It will be different from their regular Shaarei Tephilla evenings. We begin at 6:30 pm on Wednesday.
SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETS
Thursday evening, we began the School of the Prophets at 7 pm. (see information on the website under Schedule/Events)
WEEKNIGHTS
There is SOMETHING HAPPENING EACH EVENING AT PGHOP DURING THE FALL...
PGHOP is open throughout the day for you to drop in to wait of GOD.
We have 24/7 WEBSTREAMING happening DAILY from IHOP in Kansas City. It is such and inspiration, as these young people, in 2 hour shifts worship and pray for the nations, for a move of the Spirit, for a heart of intimacy with the Lord to be birthed in God's people.
My heart is so thankful for this wonderful gift, this webstreaming. I often say, "Thank You, Lord, that Mike Bickle said "Yes" to You and persevered to raise up the IHOP in Kansas City." I don't think he ever realized it would be webstreamed throughout the nations. We can watch it here, and join in prayer, along with those in Jerusalem who are connecting at the Succat Hellel Prayer Room, there, as well as many other prayer rooms around the world.
If one person's "Yes" to the Lord has caused such a blessing throughout the world....what about thousands of people's "yes" to the Lord!! God is calling us to say "Yes" to Him.
