We encourage local church participation and therefore we do not plan to have anything happening on Sundays. We appreciate pastors who feed the flock the meat and potatoes of the word of God and support what they are doing. We value local churches and do not want this to be a substitute for that.
The purpose of the House of Prayer is to connect people more with God in their prayer lives, to teach about value of prayer and to provide an atmosphere where it is conducive to grow in this connection with God, hearing His voice individually and corporately. Also, the Lord says in Luke 18:7 "Now shall not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night and will He delay long over them?". 
We believe it will increase Kingdom activity in our city, nation, and nations when God’s people are in the place of waiting on God, listening to Him, in prayer and intercession. Past revivals in history and the Great Awakenings, have taught us that they were always preceded by awakenings of prayer. If there is a time that we need to pray more, it is now. For God to come in His presence and power. For a harvest of souls. For laborers. For youth. For the poor. For us to be one, because the world will believe when we are one (John 17:21). For a revelation of the love of Jesus toward us that will ignite a passion to pursue Him and to partner with Him - doing the things He tells us to do, individually and corporately.
